I was just offered a job that pays $75,000 yr. I know I can survive on that, my concern is I'm a single farther with a 15yr old son. I don't know if the salary is enough for the two of us and are the local kids friendly to new comers. any advice?

You'd be just scraping by if you are supporting yourself and your teenage son with that salary. Costs of living in Bermuda is very high. Unless your job pays for your housing, you'd spend big portion of your income on rent. And your son has to pay higher tuition being non-resident. Local climate is not friendly towards expats taking up jobs.

Hi there, I am from Anchorage, Alaska, lived in Bermuda for 8 month. Feel free to ask questions. Depending on your job, try for 80,000.
