We are moving to Bermuda in march/April having being offered nursing positions. We are therefore looking for house sitting job without pay until we find more long term rental accommodation. Any advice? Also schools in Bermuda?

YOur best bet for a House sit, is to post it on EMoo Bermuda... Schools there are many private schools, Warwick academy, Saltus, somersfield academy are all on the British system
The only north American system is the Alberta Canadian system and that school is Mount St Agnes

House sitting is a great idea. I did it for two years. However, it's hard to find house sits when you are new to the island. You may want to rent a room first. Salt Kettle hotels has fairly low rates ( for Bermuda). My husband was a nurse there. Just be prepared that life will be very different and full of challenges there.

A lot of people house sit, but many find accomodations they can afford. Your average studio apartment usually has electriity included.. and usually runs around 1000-1500. My husband I have a 2 bedroom on the water for 2500.00
