We spent 6 mos, from Nov - April, in Antigua, Guatemala and absolutely love Guatemala!!! BUT...we travel with a service dog and this year the large fireworks were almost daily and non stop. Nothing we or the vets could do helped as he could feel the air pressure change. Anyone know anywhere, with similar weather, where the fireworks are not a daily occurrence? Any help will be most appreciated! Kitaniga

Yes, Santa Cruz area of Bolivia. You wanted to know an area like you are in, Guatemala. I also have a service dog who dislikes any fireworks. Also, have discovered if I applaud in some gathering, like other people there, then my dog, Sly, gets-up wanting to know what I want. I know, cute; I feel the same. Good Luck.
