" Sam, I would say that Vitoria probably compares well with some of the cities in Western Europe. A lot of Italian desendents. Vitoria, for that matter most of Brazil outside the major cities can be either very reasonable cost to live .. or it can be very expensive .... depends on your life style. I have visited Vitoria many times but I am not a big city person .... you can move out of the main city a few km and find living expenses very reasonable. Any particular questions you have? Capt. " Hi Sam, Go to: http://www.expcvsbrazil.com This is the home page for exPeace Corps Volunteers who served in Brazil. Click on the State - ES and you will find some links to Vitoria; however, the pages are in Portuguese. Also, go to LINKS, and you will find other places that will help you find info on Vitoria. Also, go to: http://www.aonde.com A Brazilian search engine. Just enter ""Vitoria"" and start clicking! Again all pages in Portuguese. " Thanks Donald, I have plenty of questions actually. Do you know anything about if it might be a dangerous city or not?? We consider living outside of the city but ppl. have said it might be a bad idea? 2. I have seen your are pretty informed about the legal matters in Brazil. Somebody told us, since we are not married we need a legal paper saying that we live together etc. otherwise I will not be allowed into Brazil at all. 3. I would like to work in Brazil is this at all possible? Anyone who has answer on my questions is welcome to reply of course :-)) "
