" Hello, First of all I want to introduce myself. My name is Fred Schut and I work for the Dutch broadcasting company BNN. In February we¹ll broadcast a new travel programme. We¹ve seen enough of trendy and nice places in the world. Because of that we¹re looking for country¹s / regions or city¹s wich are not really attractive for tourists. We want to show how it is to live in these areas and to make fun there. We want to tell the positive, touristic, stories but also the other side. My question to you is: does anybody has a good idea?. Please let me know! Fred Schut BNN "

" Fred, I''m a Canadian currently living in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Belo Horizonte (BH) has the highest standard of living in all of latin America as listed by the UN. BH isn''t a very well known city internationally, but it is an excellent launching point for exploring the south-eastern part of Brazil. There are many beautiful towns in the immediate area, for example, Ouro Preto, which has been declared a world heritage site. Also, the Minas cuizine is exquisite. I''m not sure exactly what you''re looking for, but the state of Minas Gerais has alot of culture and heritage, and is unique. "
