I am a recently arrived ex-pat living in Sao Paulo who is looking for easy access to nature. Recommendations for local eco reserves, hiking trails and hiking partners are all welcome.

Hi Christin. It's a little late to reply your post, and you may have already found what you where loking for, but anyway, I'll recommend a site to you that organizes hiking trails and things like that. The only problem is the site is all written in portuguese, but if you know the language, it will help you. www.specialway.com.br Good luck Mail me if you want to pampam0904@yahoo.com.br

Hi Christin. I have recently found out my company is sending me to Sau Paulo April 18 - May 28, 2004. I haven't learned much about the area yet but would be interested in a hiking companion (if there is any hiking in the area).
