Need help finding employment resources in Brazil. I am both a Brazilian and American citizen and work in the U.S as a therapist (social worker). I am wanting to move back to Brazil and continue working as a therapist if possible. I do speak portuguese and english. Does anyone know where I can look for employment? Any feedback is helpful.

Hey folks! I too am making the move from the USSA. I just returned from a month in the Rio area and decided to make the leap. I will be moving to Barra de Tujuca the first week in Feb. As I am planning on staying for the long run, and it seems that marriage is the sure way to be able to remain in Brazil, are there any special doc's that I might bring(birth cert's,etc) on this leg of the journey? I plan on getting married soon after I arrive, I just need to search out my new fiancee! Thanks in advance for your advice...

For those of you who have recently decided to move to Brazil, I'd like to know why. How you came to that decision and how it will change your life. How will you finance the experience? Is it easy to get work in Brazil? Thanks. I"m writing a book about expats living around the world. I'll be visiting Brazil in Feb, 2004. Where are the biggest concentrations of expatriate residents? Who do you suggest I hook up with to research real estate opportunities in Rio. Thanks again. Please respond asap to robinsparks@journalist.com
