hi all,
Thanks for any help in advance. I am going to get married to my brazilian fiancee in few months. and thinking whether to move to Porto Alegre with her or remain in the States. Any informations you can provide me about the city, about job opportunities in IT or Financial sector. I hold an MBA & MSCIS and have experience in Management consulting. I would like to know about the city, the atmosphere, culture as well as any experience you might have had in porto alegre.
Thanks again

yby,

You are exactly in the same situation that I am currently in now, excluding the time-frame. My Fiancee and I are looking at next year, to wed, due to her unfinished Education. I also hold an MBA, with a concentration in Finance. My dilema is should we live in the United States, or in Brazil, with her Family. I truly love Brazil, and visit every three or four months. I also have no idea of how to connect with a good business opportunity. However, I am at a slight advantage, due to my profiency in the native language, (if spoken slowly). In the United States, I would be able to provide my wife, with common luxury items in the States, such as hot and cold running water, vehicle, and a few other babbles, but the one thing that I cannot give her in the States, is the additional support and love that her Family give her in Brazil. However, her Family provided me with a love that I do not receive from my own biological Family, in the States.
