My husband and I just moved to a town near Rio and we are in Rio often. We are in our 30's/40's and looking to meet English speaking friends while we learn portuguese. We like it here, but we would like to meet people who can relate!

I am also in the process of moving to Brazil. In September I am planning to move to Brazil in Belo Horizonte and I will be working in Rio (barra da tijuca) two weeks every month and I was wondering if you knew of any people in Rio that could show me a good time and chat with me and tell me things to do and not to do. I also need to figure something out regarding a living arrangement consisting of the first two weeks of every month... I have only been to Rio one time.
