Hi forum members
My extended family is looking for vacation beach house (or possibly houses) to rent over the Christmas holiday and I thought I would ask if anyone has any recommendations.
Details:
There will be between 20-25 people on the trip.
They are currently considering beach spots throughout Brasil.
As of now, the trip would last APPROXIMATELY from December 23, 2010- January 2, 2011.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi there!
I live in Fortaleza, on the Northeast coast. I would sugest that you and your family hurry and get a place, (either here or the one other place I can suggest, Joao Pessoh) because that week between Christmas and New Year's is probably the hottest time of year...even more than Carnaval!
There are places available now but they will go fast! email if I can help.

I have a large 4 BR brick beach house outside of Fortaleza, ceara called Morro Bronco Praia. It is ON the beach with pool.
House is furnished with hammock hooks all over the house. Rent depends on days stay. Vjbus@aol.com

Have you decided where your family and yourself will be spending the Christmas holiday?
In May, you placed a post on expatexchange asking for a house for a large number of people. Is your project still on? Have you found the house?

Hi there!
I agree. You had better get a move on if you haven't decided where you are spending Christmas.
It's High Season at all the beach cities at that time so the prices will be high...but you might be able to corral something that is not booked yet for a little better price now.
