I would have thought you'd have things like that in place before you 'deployed'.
The people need the help more than the animals...

People get help each and every time there is a catastrophe. It is the animals that suffer the most because unfortunately for some reason they are seen as lesser lives. We do not think like that. The authorities and some NGOs look after the humans. We look after the animals that deserve as much care as people do. All effort is worthwhile to save a life whether it is a human, animal or vegetable.

Evidently you don't know much about the people's problems here then...they are NOT getting the help. The government has been slow to do anything. Hundreds have no home and its 95 degrees down here.

Oh, and by the way...the people in Haiti still are living on the streets and in tents since their situation began.

But hey, lets take care of the dogs and cats because "they can't take care of themselves".

Sleep well tonight knowing you helped Skippy, Rover, and Snowball - but left Flavia, Silvio, and Carlos to fend for themselves in the street....

Oh, and by the way....you included 'vegetables' in your concern????? You're an idiot.

In case you do not know, people are free to choose what to do. It is matter of respect for other people's priorities and opinions. If the victims near you are in such need for help, you should get up and do something about it. Go get muddy! Or maybe you should be 'movingsoon' to wherever you came from. Sorry, no time to go on with this silly argument. I have furry friends to look after and no time to waste. And, by the way: think before you expose your ideas. I respect your opinions but I do not see any coherence between your thoughts and your actions. I act according to my ideas. You type because you happen to be sitting at a computer nice and cosy in a dry clean place.

Just to clear the air, I HAVE gotten muddy. I have personally passed out water and supplies in the affected areas right after it happened. I have also given my time and financial support. I have seen the devastation and talked to the people that lost entire families and entire homes. Some are left with nothing.
Whats more important? People. If you cared half as much for your fellow man as animals, then this would be a far better world. Take care of the people and they will take care of the animals. The people need the help much much more.

You are the one that made the idiotic statement that saving vegetables was as important as saving people...
