American school in Manaus, Brazil

I have seen a lot of posts about Americans moving to various cities in Brazil. I have not seen anything about Manaus, however. Our family is getting ready to move to Manaus at the end of the school year. I have two kids with special needs. I would love to hear any information about the American or International schools in Manaus.

No many expats will move to Manhaus. This is the Amazon jungle, that's why!

My husband has been given a 2 year assignment with his company there. It's a huge project throughout various states in Brazil, but Manaus is the largest portion of the project & that's where his office will be. There is an international school there & he says there's also an American school. It's true that it's in the Amazon, but still a highly developed community.
