Hi, my sister and I are in Brazil on a tourist visa and now we are running out of cash, we have tried western union bank but you should be Brazilian to receive the money which is ridiculous

Do you think MoneyGram has the same rule? How a tourist receives money in this country???

Please help we will get kicked out of our hotel just tell me how to receive money in here

where are you from? don't you have a visa, master card or amex card? most banks allow for cash advances or you use them in an atm machine. my suspicion is that this is a scam, right?

Western Union & their Brazilian affiliate Banco do Brazil will accept any legitimate ID from whatever country. You are doing something wrong. Go to a branch office of Banco do Brasil / Special Services attendant. Good luck!

What's a scam? Our credit card and ATM card was stolen, my husband is sending a duplicate by FedEx, it was sent on Friday I don't know how long it takes for the package to reach Brazil

We tried western union bank to get cash instantly but it doesn't work here

We have been to several WUBs they all said the same thing, they sent us to caixa they didn't have a clue what we were talking about

We will be in the street if FedEx doesn't get us the credit card

Try to locate a church with Jehovah Witnesses, talk to them they will try to help you out.
If you need to have the fund send to a witness, you can trust them.
Of course there always bad apple, but it worth to try it.
