My husband and I will be moving to Brazil next month, I am a US citizen and he is from Algeria. What is going to be the easiest way for us to get our visas? He seems to need a lot more documentation than I do. I am a little confused on the plane tickets as well, unsure about needing round trip or not? I will first fly into Algeria and then we will fly into Brazil together. I need a visa for Algeria and because of the Olympics I believe I will not need one for Brazil, but I have never travelled multiple destinations so could use some advice on that?

Call the Brazilian consulate in the USA and in Algeria and get accurate information.

I have tried, so far I have only gotten a recording telling me they will call back, but they never have after 5 attempts/messages I have left. I bought round trip from here to Algeria, it was 1/3 the cost of a one way ticket!!
