good day to you all,
My name is Paulo, 61 years old. I am a retired university professor in electronics and automation living in João Pessoa, which is widely considered one of the best brazilian cities for those who are looking for a beautiful and peaceful site in Brazil to settle down. the city offers lots of beautiful tropical beaches, pleasant and helpful people, lots of good appartments for rent or sale on the waterfront and all services and ammenities one may need for a good living . I lived with my wife for 5 years in Germany and both of us speak german , english and spanish. We really appreciate making contact with people abroad and would be pleased to help you in case you consider to spend some time or move to northeastern Brazil.

Joao Pessoa is a very nice and calm city. I lived there from 2004 to 2007 and would again. Real estate did take off after I left but I think it's falling back a little now. Lots of good options for granjas and land. JP has my vote

Hey, thanks. I'm a retiring professor, as well. 64. My wife is Brazilian, but we know the Rio area and a bit of Minas. Soon we'll take a trip to João Pessoa and see what it's all about.

Hello Paulo,
My name is Jack,I am a retired American. I love Joao Pessoa. I am having a condominium built in Jacuma, a short distance down the road. I doubt that I would ever do this again as it has been two years in the works, and the building was there! It is on the 5th floor (top) and as of yet there are no plans to have the elevator installed as the contractor has died. His family wants to know nothing. The General Contractor has all but walked away from the project. My real estate agent, a good man, has stepped in to get the project completed.
When I return to Brasil perhaps we could meet and chat. In the meantime any information you may have regarding banking would be appreciated. I will get a retirees visa but have not done so yet.
Be well, Jack
