Hi Mark&Carol My name is Chris and wife Val,i read your message and would be grateful for any info on moving to Bulgaria.where to start ?what paperwork is required to stay (visa or ?) any pitfalls and how long did it take from finding your property to moving in? once again anything you think would helpful i would appretiate.

we would love to buy a property in bulgaria how much is all the legal side and anything else you need which is the best agents to buy through how do we go about sorting everything out legally and how long does it take all information would be very helpful as we do not know where to start we are going to sunny beach in september and will probally have a look at houses while we are there but in the surrounding areas

Dear Mark and Carole,
I am thinking of buying a property in Bulgaria near or in a resort there seem to be a number to choose from.
Where have most of the expates chosen to live that is not overrun with pubs, fish and chip cafes etc. As I havent been to Bulgaria yet, the choice is bewildering help where do I start.
I am thinking of buying one as an investment and one for the family to visit.
If one chose to sell a property are there any restrictions as to how to get the money out if you wish. thank you
