I apologise that this mesg does not answer your question at all. In fact I was hoping you could help me with something else (I notice that yours is a very recent message on the forum and I wanted to be sure that I could find someone who is actually using this site at the moment!)
My husband and I are considering a move to Bulgaria as expats and would very much like to chat (via e-mail) with other expat mothers of school going children (ages 11 - 13) to find out about the schools there and life in general. I'm not sure how to go about finding them. Could you help out at all? Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. So, you are thinking of moving to Bulgaria and you can't find any information of the country? I can only sympathise with you, because we had a really hard time finding out what we needed to know about the country, and most of what we read was actually quite different to what we discovered once we had arrived. Where are you coming from? As far as schools are concerned, I noticed that your children are aged between 11 and 13 - depending on the length of period that you will be in Bulgaria, I would recommend the American English Academy which is an EXCELLENT school, and caters for lower and upper grades (up to grade 12). This is where we have sent our son to school, and the education that he has received so far has really been outstanding.

Thanks very much for your reply and offer to help with info. I immediately wrote back to the address you gave but although I ended up sending it a second time (just in case the first one went missing), I have not had a reply yet. As that was 4 days ago now, I am thinking that there must be something wrong? I don't believe you are receiving my e-mails.
