Since I moved to Sofia with my boyfriend two years ago I have had a difficult time meeting other, 20-something, Expat's!
Where is eveyone hiding? :) I most usually find myself at the "8=> @5=0" for a pizza and a movie; what do you guys do?

Great reading your statement. I (27, working for multinational) just moved here to Sofia (from Germany, befor living in China) and although already knowing couple of people it is always great to get to know more... why not going for a dring with you and your boyfriend? Would be great!!

20 sth. usually "hide" in some pubs in Sofia, try finding the Irish pub, ot Murphy's or other similar, "Happy" is another possible place, if you find it difficult to locate these, please do not hesitate to contact me, I'll show you around...
Sofia is a lovely place .. enjoy it !

Hi Sarah,
I am replying an old message of yours because I just found this forum (hallelujah!) so I hope you read this, or Tobias, or anyone else foreign living in Sofia who wants a new friend. I just moved here 3 weeks ago and, having lived in other similar places, I know it can be really tough if you don't have other foreign buddies to talk to. So far I have been unable to meet any other foreigners here so it would be great to hear from anyone- please!!!

It was a bit surprising to see s.b. from Italy writing here.
In fact there's quite a big Italian community living in Bulgaria and you can find lots of friends ..
If you are interested, I can check the name ot the pizza house where they usually gather... :))) Italians :))
Otherwise, you can always visit the pubs I've mentioned .. there will be foreigners for sure.
