A Bulgarian friend of mine is an accountant and willing to take on more clients. She deals with all matters concerned with company accounts etc.
Her fees are very reasonable at 40- 80Lv max for non-trading company. She is very honest and reliable.
Please let me know if you are interested. She is holding a free consultation day between Gabrovo and VT tomorrow and maybe every Sunday for a while.

Hi. I live in the uk, in scotland. i bought a plot of land in bulgaria, in 2006. I have not developed it, but i understand i have to submit a tax return for the company i set up in order to buy the land. I've never submitted any tax returns, and need someone to do it for me. I have not sold, bought or rented any other property. Can you help?

Hi Hugh,
Which area is your property in? I have a reliable accountant who speaks English as well. She is in Sofia, used to work as a tax inspector so she knows what she is doing. Please let me know if I could be of any help...

Regards,

megi

Dear Hugh,
For your tax returns you can find the forms online from the bulgarian tax office site, (in bulgarian.) You need to fill in your business details along with your bulstat number, each form must them be signed and stamped with your business stamp and then taken to the tax office for the town where your company is registered. There you fill in a declaration and hand them over, job done
Officially there is a fine for late submission. So for 2008 you have until the end of March to get this in, for the others you could be fined.
This we did for a couple here last week in plovdiv and with a few apologies and smiles were able to get away with out paying any fines.
Depending where your home is based we can help you with the form filling and submission ( i travel to the UK once amonth and can bring the forms for you to sign and stamp) or when you are next in bulgaria we could meet up to sort it out. Or did you give some one power of attoney when you set up your buiness as they could do all the signing and stamping in your place.
To be up front with you we do charge a small fee for the work 250BGL
hope this is of help to you,
If you have any more questions please feel free to contact me at stemblett@hotmail.com or via this forum
best regards Simon
