Hello ExpatExchange.com Members!

One area of interest for many expatriates is the need for assistance in
settling in and the management of culture shock. In order to identify
the information most needed by expats as they adapt to international
living, we'd like to know the biggest hurdles you faced in the process
of moving overseas.

Please help us in this project by answering these few questions:

When you moved to Bulgaria, what was the most difficult part of settling
in there?

How much difficulty did you have with culture shock in Bulgaria?

What would be the best, single piece of advice you'd give to an expat
(or soon to be expat) in Bulgaria?

Hello everyone :) My name is Iliana and in fact i'm not an expat but my friends Brian, Jed, Christine, Judie and the other Christine are. I helped them with the settling down here. Each of them met different challanges. We had to sort out accountancy, company registrations, buying cars, dealing with all sorts of documents but in my opinion one of the most difficult parts was when Christine had to decide about school for her little Safron. May be because it is most important.
I would be glad if i could help somebody by my sharing experience.
