I wonder if anyone using this forum knows how many Britons live in or own property in Bulgaria. I have the numbers for Spain and France and other EEC countries and lived in France for many years, but can't find any info on Bulgaria in this regard. I am preparing to write a book about Bulgaria and would appreciate any pointers and info. Thanks.

I am planning my move and will happily share my thought with you if you were interested :)
I believe lots of people like me who are sick of the rat race here in London are planning to more to Bulgaria. The property is sooooo cheap !

Welcome to Bulgaria . Only in my village we are about 10 families from abroad . So all over Bg you will find UK citizen . Be careful with very cheap properties . First look and buy after !

Hi haylingbilly,
(used to work in that pub) My friends have just bought and will move over in the Spring and we will be buying in the next few months so thats 4 more of not really a great lot of Brits.....Yet. It seems it is only in the thousands,. which is good , but not if you are looking for a little England...... I have read there is little pockets of Expats. and a great support network across the country, of which I myself will be hacking into from now on lol. Bulgaria here I come !! Watch out !! haha.
