Hey not sure if you are already in Burma. I guess you are considering Rangoon?

first problem is there are no banks you can use so you need cash. No credit cards can be used. So yes it is easy to get in and out like and city but make sure you work out your money well so you don't run out.

What to pack? Well like any low income country!

Let me know if you a want any specific advice. If you get a job accommodation is generally included. Pay is very poor if you are teaching etc but if you don't hang out at foreigner places you can live well.

I was looking at yangon, but it does not look like it will happen. I am looking at jobs in India, nepal, thailand, korea , basically all throughout europe and Asia.

Any advice on being an expat is welcomed
