I'm confused about rental prices in Yangon. Some internet searches tell me that I can get a 1-bedroom apartment in Yangon for 800 USD per month and others that I will need to pay 1500 plus pay a year in advance. Others tell me renters will not accept foreigners at all for legal reasons. Can anyone clarify?

We are legal registered real estate agency in Myanmar. you may give us your budget and location you want, we will search for you. normally in myanmar, owner requests tenant pay in yearly.

There are apartments found easily if you look for apartments the cost will be around 800 yes. But there are hotels as well which gives discount for long stays where you get breakfast free and your room cleaned daily plus wifi etc. I work in one of them you can get a room for 800 usd a month from hotels too. And for hotels its safe and secured that you dont have to pay key money for months.. and the price may differ according to the room type you choose. Try hotel 63 in downtown
