Hi guys! I am from Latvia, currently living & working in UAE. I would just like to know what are the chances to get job in Canada being outside over here in UAE. The point is that while going through immigration process as Skilled worker one must have certain amount in one's bank account. We are 3 in the family and can't reach that amount at the moment. Can we actually get a job offer (one of us) and then go to Canada somehow... Sorry but I am not experienced in these issues. NEED Your HELP! Thanx. My e-mail: Enigmiasta@yahoo.com

It is all depending on which industry you are working in. You can search on the job sites such as: monster.ca

In order to work in Canada, the most important thing is the employer willing to sponsor your work permit.

Alberta is booming with many jobs, some other provinces are in the grips of a recession. So I would focus on Edmonton and Calgary, there is an abundance of jobs and no workers, hope that helps, sorry I can't help with an job offers though. Try Monster.ca that is a popular job site.

Hey there

I am new here..My husband and I took the time to visit i Canada from south Africa.
We enjoyed every minute ..We are aware that every country has its own problems, however, we enjoyed the diversity of people.
My husband just finished off in the middle east as a Facilities Manager after 7 years and has applied to nearly 20 sites of canadian jobs availbale..and its such a dead end.
I am a Hairstylist and make-up artist..We have started our immigration process through an absolutely good immigration company who is an ex south african.
Quesiton is, Do the companies really take the time out to access all the applications or do they just put it aside when they see your not in canada..

The majority would not consider you if you are not authorized to work in Canada, but once you are here it will be easier. I don't have much faith in those job sites since spam jobs are managing to find their way onto the internet. I approach potential employers direct and my job success has been pretty good.
