I'm 26, US citizen. This is my first time posting on here. I've been searching online and have had a hard time finding solid answers.. I'd like some help on what i should do to obtain a work permit or a skilled worker visa.. I want to move to Canada eventually, I wouldn't mind living in the Northwest Territories or Alberta. I assume there may be more options open to me in NT.. I have experience in carpentry (flooring) and warehouse (shipping/receiving). I would like to become a firefighter in Canada, I volunteered for 6 months but that's not a must. I feel my calling to move to Canada and its quite a daunting task to find information through Google.

If anyone has done this before I would love to hear from them. It would be great to have someone to correspond with. Thank you for your time, God Bless
