If you qualify to apply via the skilled worker program then you would need to complete an Express Entry Profile.

You may be able to include your spouse and children on the application to come with you to Canada. Once you are a Canadian permanent resident you then have the option to sponsor other family members to come to Canada - see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp

I sponsored my wife from the PHILIPPINES. They checked every employer, neighbor, teacher, school, everything making sure. Emmanuel123 - Look through the Citizenship and Immigration website carefully. Roger Bhatti is a really good immigration lawyer out of Richmond or Vancouver, BC. He is Indo-Canadian himself. forgot to mention...the Loonie is 82 cents on the American Eagle. Timing of exchange rates is everything. I am with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, but there are some sharks there too.
