I spotted this in the Globe and Mail - http://bit.ly/1OttXOM. B.C. has a shortage of chefs, but it seems the job security is not so good in the tourist areas (such as the Okanagan) as there are often lay-offs over winter.

try Victoria BC, the capital of BC, the warmest and nicest city in Canada on the Southern tip of Vancouver Island with lots of American tourists.

Have you applied or a Permanent Resident Visa? There is no point in asking where can you find a job if you don't qualify for a visa. http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp
