I need advice. What would be the best way to search for a job offer, in my home country (South Africa) or visiting a cousin in Canada for 3 months and while there see if I can get job offer quicker. My cousin advised me to do a caregiver aide course because apparently this is in high demand in Canada. Now that I reply to ads and to agencies they say that the processing time (LMIA) for SA is up to 5 months. My cousin said that this is normal and that I should not worry about this. I also found that I can only reply to some jobs if I was currently in Canada. So how can I get a job offer asap. Should I go to Canada and hopefully get offer then apply for work permit while inside of Canada? Hope this makes sense.

This URL is the official Canadian gov't website: https://www.canada.ca/en/index.html
It should give you all the rules and regulations about coming to Canada to work.
What area of Canada are you coming to?

My cousin lives in Grande Prairie, Alberta. So, Alberta would be my first choice. But at this stage, I don't mind where in Canada I get a job, so long as I get a job.

Do you have a working visa? You can't get a job without a social insurance number. You need a working visa for that.

Thanks, I'm aware that I need certain things in order to work in Canada. First, I need a job offer with the LMIA papers to apply for the work permit in my country.
