I have been taking Spanish classes from a small Spanish Immersion School in Santiago. They are looking for more students. The school has a great program at the most affordable prices I have seen. It is a great way to socialize with other Expats. There web sight is http://www.cmet.net/ichil/. Let me know if I can get you more information (tschlossberg@hotmail.com).

My sister and I along with my 2 kids will be traveling to Chile. My sister, a university student, would like to enroll in one week of Spanish immersion, ideally with a homestay that can accommodate all of us.

Does the school you attend offer such a short term program with lodging as desired (e.g. lodging for students with dependents)?

What do you think of the quality of instruction?

How much Spanish did you know before you began your studies?

Does the school offer lodging with a tutor/teacher and family?

Do the teachers do excursions/field trips with students either as an "extra" service or is it included in the program?

How long have you been enrolled in your studies?

What neighborhoods of Santiago have you enjoyed most?

Thanks in advance for answering so many of our questions.
