Hi. I'm a self-employed IT consultant in the USA with 10+ years of experience and hold MCSE, MCP, I-Net+, A+, and soon my Net+ and CCNA certs.

Like the person from Canada, I am interested in the IT work environment in Chile for native Engilsh speakers (Spanish is weak, but I am starting to take classes).

I am also curious about the Internet connectivity (I'm addicted to high speed Internet), types of work (especially networking and OS systems management), typical wages, benefits, health care (is health and dental comparable to USA in quality or is it more primative?), etc.

I'm sure Santiago has the most options for IT, but I would especially like to know about IT in Puerto Montt.
