Are there any blues or blues rock clubs to play music in Chili? Does anybody like blues in Chili? Can one make a living playing music there?

You can start your search by respectfully and correctly spelling CHILE.

Santiago, the capital of Chile, has a vibrant blues, jazz and rock scene with local and internationally renown artists catering to the sophisticated tastes of a very modern, robust society.

To make any living in Chile you must have a work visa and in your case, unless you're a music virtuoso of some reputation, you have a very slim chance of acquiring.

Chile is not a country where you can come and do as you please on a low monthly budget; the immigration laws are very well developed, followed and enforced.

So, do your due diligence before choosing a country where to relocate; Chile many not be the best choice for you.

Actually I am a virtuoso and have been sought after for years to play venues of prestige. My spell checker obviously has a mind of it's own and respelled Chile for me. No offense intended. I thank you for your time and response to my request. Contrary to your opinion Chile may be just the place for me...

Blues is the one genre of music most underappreciated in Chile. They like rock and some jazz, but blues doesn't get much attention. The US embassy sponsored a tour of black gospel musicians throughout the country last year and so there is curiosity about anything that's well-performed.
