15 passenger van import?

We are planning a move this summer (here) and wondering if anyone has had a great experience with any particular container shipping companies? Our plan was to rent door to door a 20" container, but now we're wondering if it would be wise to rent a larger container and bring our vehicle also.
Any advice on the wisdom of importing a 15 passenger diesel van? Are the duties and regulations going to make that not worthwhile?

btw...we are looking to purchase land or caretake in the central bio bio region, or near Los Angeles if anyone is in that area we could befriend =) We're a family of 10, and soon to be more ;)

You may want to check on Chile's vehicle import restrictions. I believe if the vehicle is more than 6 months old you cannot bring it into the country and get it licensed.

Thank you. I heard something about that, but I could not find any information. , so I though I would try here. Do you recommend a reputable container shipping company?

Here's info on what you can import and the duties of those items. https://www.iamovers.org/files/newimages/member/shippers/chile.pdf

My wife and I traveled light when we moved to Viña and didn't use a shipper so I can't help you on that.
