Hi,

I am a young (31-year-old) Indo-Canadian woman and have been in Beijing and China for 5 months. I work for a government publication. I was wondering if there are any young (20- or 30-something) expats from English-speaking countries in Beijing who would like to meet new people or make new friends? I live and work in a place where most of the people are middle-aged and/or married, and where even a lot of the younger expats have different interests, so I'd really like to connect with other, preferably English-speaking foreigners (I have already met many lovely locals, but there is a language barrier with them).
