Hi again,

My name is Sapna Nayyar and I had posted a message on this board once before but got only one reply off-list so I'd like to post my message once again. I am Indian-Canadian and 31 years old, working for a government publication. I have been here now 8 months and I'm still looking for some friendly and intelligent young expats (20-or 30-something) to hang out with, including people from English-speaking countries. I enjoy going out to dinner and dancing at the bars, in addition to coffee, lunch, movies and the occasional outdoor excursion -- I'm open to just about anything.

See, most of my friends here are local, and that's great, but I still also need people whom I can speak to in English at a normal speed. Most of my expat colleagues and neighbours are middle-aged and/or married, or young with other commitments and different interests. The young expats I meet at the Young Professionals Happy Hour I go to every month are mostly very busy with their own social circle, so I'm still short of expat friends to balance out what would otherwise be an interesting multinational social circle for me.
