Hi again,
I was wondering if anyone knows where you can get clock radios in Beijing, and at what price range? I moved from Canada almost a year ago, and I looked almost everywhere but I could only get an alarm clock. I'd like to be able to wake up to music rather than to a "beep beep" sound-- a little bit of my old life in Canada would be welcome in this respect. :). If anyone has any idea, please reply once again either to this forum or to: sap198@yahoo.com
Thanks again in advance,
Sapna Nayyar

Hi,
My suggestion is that you try one of the many hotel/restaurant supply shops. In the past I have found things there that I could find no where else. Hotels often have clock radios and this is one of the places they get them. If you don't read Chinese, look for places/shops that have lots of cups, plates, vacuum cleaners, and serving utensils etc. Sounds like you have looked everywhere else. Hope this helps. _Warmly, Amy Halterman

I note you have been looking for a clock-radio in BJ for some time now, and am surprised that you cannot find one in the Lufthansa Centre. I admit that we bought ours at LHR airport. Why not ask friends who are going to HKSAR on R&R? Or possibly gift shops in 5-star hotels in BJ
Best of luck

Hi,
Actually, I haven't looked at all in the Lufthansa Center. I'll look in there and if I don't find any there, then I guess I'll just have to wait until a friend goes to HK and ask them to bring it then. Thanks for your suggestion.
