Hi I am new to the forum. Moved to China 4 months ago currently living in Langfang which is about 45 minutes from Beijing. I am interested in connecting with people in the Beijing area for outing/day trips etc. like hiking the Great Wall or just tour of the region etc. I was in Beijing in 99 and noticed a expat hiking club notice at the Hilton. If anyone know who I should get in touch with (or to form a group) please post reply or email me at pfung@canada.com

You might want visit the expat hotels in Beijing. These hotels like the Jing Hua or Qiao Yuan Hotels cater to the foreigner.
