We are an American family living in the UK. My middle school age daughter is writing a report on China and would like to hear from a Chinese child (age 11-15) to find out what his or her day is like, and possibly to continue the correspondence. Thanks.

Use the Google search engine. Type in China Penpals. There are a number of web-sites that facilitate this type of activity. You might want to screen them yourself. Some of them are marriage related.

We are also an American family, but living in Beijing. To enhance our expat experience, we decided to enroll our daughters in local Chinese schools two years ago. My oldest daughter is 10 1/2 and in grade 4. She is always looking for penpals and can provide some true insight to the life of the typical chinese pre-teen, and without a language barrier!
