Help for Beijing stay

Hi,

I'm wanting to stay in Beijing for around 3 months. I am currently employed in the United States (and a US citizen), but do to the nature of my work, can travel anywhere as long as I can get an Internet connection, and accomodations within a modest budget.

Can you point me in an initial direction on where and how to find and set-up a temporary residence in Beijing that could provide Internet access?

Hi Chad,

Depending on when you plan to do the 3 months, keep in mind that Beijing will be nearly impossible for temp housing during the Olympics. That said however, you should troll the websites at Cityweekend.com or thebeijinger.com to ask this same question or check out any info in their forums.

I'm not an agent or in the Beijing accomodation business though if you tell me how much you want to spend and roughly where you wish to live I'll set family and friends on the search for an apartment for you.
