I will be moving to Guangzhou in 3 months time, currently looking for a good international school for my 5 years old boy who is finishing his reception year in UK this summer. Any recommendations, please ? Thanks.

I would highly recommend to have a look at the Guangzhou Women`s Int. Club:
http://www.gwic.org/living-schools.html
under the living section they do have a full listing with homepages of the school. If you read all the pages through and you have an idea I would ask them to put you in touch with members having kids in this particular school. For a newcomer they are a great recource and really helpful. They will be great for tips regarding accomodation as well - if you do not have anything, yet.
Happy moving, Kerstin

The top school in Guangzhou is the American International School of Guangzhou. The Elementary school is located on the beautiful Ersha Island right in the middle of the city. The middle and high school has moved into amazing new facilities in the science park because they out grew the campus on Ersha. It truly is a leading international school with a multicultural environment. AISG is an IB world school which offers IB-PYP and IB-DP. Check out more on the website http://www.aisgz.edu.cn/ Not the most exciting web page but a great school.
