My wife and I are considering moving to Zhoushan near Shanghai. We have a job offer on the table. Any advice would be helpful in making this decision. Thanks.

Hi,

What type of offer did you have? Is it an expat contract or local contract? What benefits are you receiving from the company: coverage, housing, ...? and finally what position are the company is offering you?

Hi,

I just saw your post from June. Would you be able to advise me on living in Zhoushan?
Recently I received an offer for a position as an English teacher there. My knowledge of Mandarin is yet non-existent, I'm afraid. Will I be able to get by? Do many people speak English? Are there many foreigners living on the island?
