I'm American and my wife is from Shenzhen with family in Nanchang. We are considering retiring in China later this year or early next depending on selling real estate in the States. Shenzhen seems too big, and Nanchang too rainy and cold so we are considering Zhuhai. A bit concerned about coming into the real estate market at the top though.

Is that the same place as "Bar Street" because that was fun, except the whole bathroom thing, which I will have to get use to, but we enjoyed the nite life, but were with other english speaking people. We won't always have that luxury. We are beginning manderine lessons april 1st. Wish me luck
