My son will turn 15 in a month and studies Mandarin at school. He likes the language and we are looking for a Chinese summer camp in China for him. Anyone on here has experience with a full time summer camp that offers Chinese classes in July or August for about two weeks? I will not be able to go with him so it needs to provide adequate supervision and accommodation.

Our daughter went to a summer camp in Beijing last year at LTL (http://www.livethelanguage.cn/chinese-summer-camp/). She had Chinese classes in the morning and activities in the afternoon and spent a total of four weeks there. She enjoyed it and her teacher was impressed with her Chinese language progress when she started school in September.

I am sure you can find some Chinese summer camps on institutions and their websites for your boy. A good environment will be of great help when learning languages, I have been using YesPo http://bit.do/yespocne5 for months, it is an app for translation and interpretation; they have professional human translators so your boy can get any kind of help in his study. Now I can make daily conversations with my Chinese friends in Mandarin!
