Studying in China (Lijiang Academy / LJA)

Hey There,

Im new to the site. Im looking to learn Chinese in China, but I just dont want to be in a place like Shanghai or Beijing, which are polluted and crowded. I want to travel, study, and absorb the culture. I feel like these big cities dont offer the experience I am looking for. Sure, they are cool to visit, but I have been there before and I do not really want to stay put there.

I have found one school which matches what I am looking for, called the Lijiang Academy of Chinese Language and Culture. You can find them on facebook, I cant post links yet. Lijiang seems like a cool place, and the Lijiang Academy seems to be the only school which offers boarding, meals, classes, and sight-seeing. What do you guys think? Any advice for learning Chinese while absorbing the culture? Im looking to pass HSK 4 and this organization does say that they offer HSK as well as business Chinese classes. Like I said, I really dont want to just study in some big city, I want the whole package.

Thanks!
