"Is there a bar, lounge, club, restaurant for Americans?"
Hmmmm, yeah, I think its in some place called the USA.
This is Colombia, and when you are here, its usually best to immerse yourself in the Colombian culture and embrace their way of life, to get the best experience from your visit.
Personally I try to avoid English speakers, ........ unless she is a Colombiana, pretty, petite, and sexy, then I might just be tempted to make an exception.

The OP is no different when Spanish speakers come to the USA, they tend to seek out other Spanish speakers as well. I find no issue with that. I agree with your Colombiana assessment :)

Yeah, I can understand if you are living here permanently, but halfway through a two week visit?
That means after one week, you are desperate to hear an English voice?

Yes, point taken. I tend to seek it out once in a while, but I've been here the years next month..

In my experiences traveling a month here, a month there, few weeks in Medellin, few weeks in Santa Marta, etc., I actually get depressed when running into English speakers. It ruins the fantasy of "I'm a cool explorer far from my homeland venturing into the unknown!" Like my first trip to Machu Picchu, when I got to the mist-shrouded gates at the summit, deep in the Andes, and heard....a lady from Jersey whining about the ticket prices. Lol. Just shoot me

Parque Lleras my friend. Patrick's is an Irish bar and most of the servers and bartenders speak English. 90% of the patrons are Gringo's.
I have been to almost all of the bars in Lleras and this is what you are searching for if you want English-speaking people to hang out with.
Some girls down the street at Hooter's speak English too but Patrick's is THE place for what you are looking for.
Personally, I hate Parque Lleras and only go there occasionally.

I spent 52 days in Colombia November and December. No good sports bars in Barrenquilla if you are a American football fan. The sports bars are closed on Sunday. In Santa Marta two American brothers from San Diego own the Hostal La Brisa Loca. Carry all of the NFL games. Got to watch my Philadelphia Eagles every Sunday. Bribed the bartender $10,000 Pesos:-)
