So I have been reading the forum for a number of months because I plan to move to Medellin. I raised the topic of single mothers in that city and got a number of informative responses to my question. And I responded to someone wanting information about the dating site AmoLatina. My response was never posted and the original discussion disappeared from the forum. When I inquired why on the site, I never got a response. So what gives ? After reading a number of confrontational exchanges on the sight , I find it difficult to believe that such a topic would be " taboo ".

Now... Back on the subject...

I've had a few posts just never make it as well. I think you get what you pay for on here. I wouldn't take it personally. Maybe try again?

Hello Phillip - Thank you for your response to my statement. As I explained in my post ( which never got posted ) I never could tell if that dating site was legitimate or not. The women never wanted to write letters and never responded to my statements or questions. They just wanted to chat , usually saying the same things repeatedly. So I am glad to hear that it worked out for you.

" You get what you pay for here " ? We are supposed to be paying , or is that just a figure of speech ? No, the entire subject was removed from the forum.

Yeah - I tried it for over a year and lost mucho dinero. Most online reviews were that the site is a scam. Guess you are a happy exception.

I had part of one of my threads disappear, too. My thread was about the shortcomings of this forum design being somewhat clunky and all.
Yep, TL said it, you often get what you pay for, meaning this site is free so don´t expect much, I guess.
I wonder if your thread was deleted because you are talking about dating Colombian women......or because you were referring to another web page that might draw traffic away from this one. My guess is.....honestly I dunno.
Anyway, I checked out AmoLatina when I was dating and I thought it was not for me, but that was several years ago and I don´t remember why exactly that I didn´t like it.
I chose instead to go with Colombian Cupid which costs about $20 USD month, or cheaper if you sign up for several months. I met several really nice women on Colombian Cupid and my girlfriend and I met there.
I also tried the sister site, Latin American Cupid. I think those two sites are about equal in number of Colombianas, but the Latin American site has women from 26 other countries, in case you´re not dead set on just Colombia.

You're not alone. Also disappeared was my own post on a scheme to achieve global domination by forcing the Dardanelles with a flotilla of three-meter windsurfing boards. Cyberhounds are sniffing for digital spoor even now, tracking binary broken twigs on an ether trail back to the villains. But my gut tells me Australians may be pulling strings to rig collateralized debt obligations in synthetic aluminum spread arbitrage via asymmetric disinformation. And of course I realize it may be something even worse. Hang in there, turn your head, and think of England.

Thanks for your reply cafetero. Seems unfortunate that there is a "BIG Brother" that feels the need to monitor the exchange of information in a " Forum ". Oh well ... 1Firebird

novato1953 - you get my vote for most bizarre post that I have seen on this site. Far and away.

I'll say. This site's tragic chemtrail tales, for instance, make "Heart Of Darkness" look like a Sunday School picnic.
