Can someone give me an idea about the costs of medication in Colombia relative to the US? And maybe a link to a pharmacy or other source of information? Thanks.

Without posting all of them- a good example would be gabapentin 600mg tablets, two three times a day. I see the "1953" in your handle, which says to me that you're almost my age (1951), so you may understand about neuropathic pain. I can suggest others if that doesn't work. Are you in Colombia now? Do you have a favorite pharmacy? Thanks.

I was trying to suggest you may get better reader responses if you ask about drugs by name. Drug names can be different, sometimes with compound changes and sometimes not, and some aren't available at all.

10 300 mg caps at this Bogotá site are just over 15000 COP or a bit more than 5 USD:

It's OK. Just the comparison on the site Nellie suggested gives me an idea of the comparative prices. I suppose I'll need to buy medical and prescription insurance although I'm on Medicare here in the States.

In my experience, meds in Colombia are typically more that meds in the USA with health insurance. But that will wildly vary on the specific RX. Canada offers better rates for mail-in prescriptions. Even some OTC vitamins here like Centrum are double.
