I want to see how a link of a PIC behaves in this forum.

BY THE WAY: does anyone know:
1) Who runs or is the administrator of this forum?
2) Is it just me, that finds this forum the most basic, almost broken, by modern standards, considering the things you can do today in FB, G+ etc? -------------- Eddie

oops, the spaces did not matter.
Begin the below string with a < and end it with a > to get a clickable link.

@WhoaNellie -------------- Wao... the link keeps taking me to a scary place: HTML :( --------- I used to know a bit about HTML, no longer as I have forgotten most of i.t. ------------- In google pics (A book can be written on it), I picked 3 pics (marked them). Clicked on "Share" and then it gives a myriad of options to share the pics. But I like to use the LINK itself... which I PASTED in this forum and it worked. ------ Eddie

I don't think you are understanding what I am saying, and/or I am not understanding what you are saying.
You can't click on the URLs you posted and be taken to where they point - you have to copy and paste each one you posted.
There is nothing special about pasting a URL which others then have to copy and paste, that's just copying and pasting and yes, that works. But that's not what mtbe demonstrated in the other thread, where using HTML he posted a clickable link that takes you to the URL.

That worked well. If anyone is having trouble posting photos, I recommend Flickr. They have easy share links that let you quickly post your photos anywhere, including here.

Hi Steve. At the end of your post the link to the short video of Filandia works fine. It piques my curiosity. Will have to pay a visit. Thank you! Other towns that I've come across built on mesas rather than valleys are Barichara and Panachi across the gorge from Chicamocha Park. (accessed by cable car).

Thanks poco - here's more on Filandia, and there is another one if you can get back to my channel site.

Beautiful. Leaves the audience wanting, well, me at least. A tip if I may, pan more slowly. I know, it's hard to do.
