We are a family of 4. Our children are 5 and 2 years old. How much would yo say a family earning U.S. dollars would need to survive comforatble in Costa Rica? My husband can work "remotely". Thanks for any adivse.

Hi Jennifer
The first thing that comes to my mind is schooling for two kids.
I would highly recommend private schools in Costa Rica.
There are many good one's in the Central Valley which is the San Jose area.
They can range from $200-800 a month.
Renting in a nice secure area in San Jose can be anywhere from $800 + a month. Buying depending on the location type of home/condo
Everything esle really depends on your lifestyle.
I must get twenty emails per week at my law firm asking the same question.
A modest lifestyle one live on $2500 a month.
My firm helps people with all the relocation services needed to make the move to Costa Rica.
This includes banking,real estate services,residency
shipping cars from the US corporation set up
