I have one, no paperwork or gubmit involvement necessary. It has the same muzzle velocity as a 22 cal. I have pepper spray and you can also buy a tazer.

5.5 mm is just under .22 caliber. Assuming .177 is A-OK but .22 is not? Most of mine are .177. Would love to have my custom rifles there!
