In the process of getting ready to ship our household goods to CR and found this list of restricted items and prohibited items. Wondering on some of them? Used shoes? Underwear? Dose that mean we cannot ship our clothing that we use such as shoes and underwear? Or are they shipping for resale? Or do we or can we bring them into CR as luggage?

Restricted Items: Special import permit required. This list is not all items.

• Vitamin supplements

• Compressed air or gas guns
• Ammunition for pistols and revolvers
• Swords and spears

Prohibited Imports:
• Used shoes
• Used underwear
• Used tires
• Psychotropic substances
• Insecticides containing DDT
• Toys containing toluene y xylene.
• Mini gels containing konjac fluor additive INS 425
